Kit Kat has reached only 6% of the android market share, Jelly Bean is in the sixties and finally Ginger Bread has dropped less than 20%. In an increasingly software driven world where successive generations get better at what they do, isn't it sad that people are left with older versions because manufacturers don't want to put an effort into getting the latest OS upgrade to their devices? This is especially disappointing knowing that Android is free! I am glad that Google has decided to fragment its core operating system apps as independent stand alone apps, and pushes it to the Play Store! Lately they have brought their camera app to the Play Store, and they have added the blur feature! You tell where to focus, and the app algorithmically does it, blurs the surrounding, and not optically! That is awesome! Now you can take SLR type of pro pictures with this Android camera app! Look at this picture that I took from my bed early this morning, of the night stand with the blur feature! In fact this is not the default camera app, but pixlr app! Who cares what the hardware does anymore! Software rules!
